Apparently, the Apple iPhone 2.2 OS beta 1 that was seeded to iPhone developers last week included a reforested iPhone Mobile Safari UI. The newly designed IPhone Mobile Safari has new done away with the magnifying glass icon and in its place has substituted a search bar that rides shotgun alongside the URL bar similar to the desktop version.
